The rugged, expandable Travel Backpack is designed for versatility, now available in a Peak Design exclusive Coyote X-Pac™ Ocean Edition fabric made in the USA from 100% recycled fishing nets. It offers top, side, front, and rear access through weatherproof #8 and #10 UltraZips, built to withstand years of use with abrasion-resistant thread.
Meeting international carry-on size requirements, it expands from 35L to 45L for all your gear-hauling needs. Quick-access pockets for essentials, large side pockets for water bottles and tripods, and padded laptop and tablet sleeves provide smart organisation. The main compartment is divided with a zippered mesh sleeve, and tuck-away shoulder straps and hip belt ensure comfort. 360-degree grab handles and concealed external carry straps add convenience. The bag’s sleek, weatherproof 100% recycled 400D nylon shell with a 900D bottom liner offers durable protection. It’s Fair Trade Certified and 100% carbon neutral.

- Materials & Durability - They partnered with X-Pac® to create an eco-friendly fabric meeting Peak Design’s sustainability standards. The Coyote X-Pac® VX-21 Ocean Edition is made in the USA with a shell of 100% recycled fishing nets. Its multilayer laminated design includes a 22° diamond-patterned recycled polyester thread, X-PLY®, giving it a technical look and a smooth, crisp handfeel that lasts.

Access & Expansion - The bag offers multiple access points including rear access via a burly #10 UltraZip, dual side access, and a front zip panel for additional storage and organisation.
Expansion zips allow for fitting more or compressing your load, and a soft-lined zippered top pocket is perfect for keys, glasses, and passports. -
Internal & External Organisation - Internally, the bag features padded, dedicated laptop and tablet sleeves, as well as clip-in points for Peak Design Camera Cubes.
Externally, it includes hugely expandable side pockets for water bottles and tripods, plus external carry straps that stow beneath a magnetic flap. -
Travel & Security Features - Approved for international carry-on, the bag includes a luggage pass-through for roller bag carry and a protected luggage tag holder.
It is equipped with theft-deterrent zipper pulls and designed to fit Peak Design Packing and Camera Cubes (fit 3 units with space for more). -

- The main compartment includes lightly padded, laptop/tablet sleeve that can accommodate most 16" laptops
- 3-way carry system: classic backpack carry, side carry and back handle duffle carry
- Back handle also doubles as a rolling luggage passthrough sleeve

- Front organisation panel compartment provides 3 standard zippered compartments and 1 organisation panel, zippered, mesh compartment

- Bag capacity can be expanded from its neutral state of 35L to 45L using the expansion zips
