About Day Owl

In March 2010, Ian met Marc Noel in Haiti for the first time. In Haiti, he observed a significant amount of waste and a scarcity of employment opportunities, particularly for individuals like Marc Noel who were enthusiastic about maximising their time and potential. During his time there, Ian discovered the potential for transforming plastic bottles into fabric. "If Haiti could turn trash into $ = good," he noted in his notebook. These words serve as a guiding principle for their project to this day. Day Owl functions in collaboration with their sister organisation, First Mile®, and maintains a strategic partnership with the nonprofit organisation WORK.
