About AeroPress
AeroPress was founded in 1984 as Aerobie, Inc. by inventor and retired Stanford University engineering instructor Alan Adler. Then, in 2004, Alan began studying the brewing process with a simple goal in mind: brew a superior cup of coffee.
The AeroPress Go is the latest portable coffee press to hit the market from AeroPress, Inc.
Brew coffee anywhere with the AeroPress Go Coffee Press. The AeroPress Go is thoughtfully engineered to provide all the delicious brewing capabilities of the original AeroPress plus a convenient drinking mug that doubles as a carrying case. Like the original AeroPress, the AeroPress Go brews remarkably delicious American, espresso, and cold brew style coffee. The AeroPress Go is optimised for travelling, camping, or just going to work by making it convenient and easy to take your AeroPress with you. Its smart design ensures that you will never be without delicious AeroPress brewed coffee wherever you go.
Highlights of the AeroPress Coffee Maker - Go
- Delicious coffee anywhere: Rapidly brews smooth, pure-tasting coffee without the acidity or grit. Optimised for travelling, camping, and boating. Free yourself from hotel coffee!
- Compact design, with mug included: Includes microwaveable mug and lid that doubles as a travelling case so you can brew coffee anywhere. Quick to clean and pack up.
- Brew American or espresso style coffee: Brews one cup with one press. AeroPress Go can also make cold brew coffee as well as espresso-style coffee for lattes, cappuccinos, and more.
How It Works
AeroPress uses a patented 3 in 1 brew technology that combines the flavor benefits of espresso, pour-over and french press into one compact, portable device. You get a completely unique and delicious cup of coffee, only possible with an AeroPress.
First, water is poured over the coffee, wetting and aerating the grinds, creating the signature AeroPress smoothness. Then, during the immersion process, water penetrates the coffee grinds for deeper flavour notes and a full bodied finish often found in a French Press. Finally, the magic happens - air pressure quickly pushes the brew through the coffee bed and filter, removing grit and bitter tasting oils for an espresso-like richness
