The Ethnotek Raja Laptop Backpack is a heavy-duty, organiser-powerhouse that can handle anything from your home to office commute, a weekend camping trip, or an all out adventure abroad. Raja means 'king' in Hindi, and is befitting for Ethnotek's most popular backpack.
To protect your gear from the fiercest of elements, the Ethnotek Raja Laptop Backpack is forged from an 840D weather-resistant Ballistic Nylon construction. Furthering the weather-resistance, the Raja features a snap-button rolltop closure, doubly enforced by an adjustable snap buckle to ensure nothing gets in the main compartment. Lined in the side pockets of the pack is handwoven fabric made from Cham artisans in Phan Rang, Vietnam.
The pack features impeccable storage and organisation capabilities. Featuring a front vertical zip pocket, a zippered pocket on the right side opening to a faux-fur mesh stretch pouch, a zippered pocket on the right with an organisation panel and that also gives direct access to the main compartment, two stash pockets on the exterior of the side zippered pockets, a zippered mesh pocket and A4 document and/or tablet sleeve in the main compartment and a dedicated faux-fur laptop compartment accessible via the back panel for up to most 17" laptops. To ensure comfort and support, the Raja provides compression straps to tighten you pack closer to your back, adjustable and padded shoulder straps, a padded air-mesh back panel and a sturdy haul handle to give you more carry options.
The Ethnotek Raja Laptop Backpack - like most Ethnotek bags, feature an interchangeable front panel called a THREAD™. All styles except Ballistic Black come loaded with a THREAD™ as named/pictured on their product. They can be removed from the main pack and changed as your mood desires, also enabling the bag to also be worn bare/black if the situation requires. Each THREAD™ is sourced directly from local artisans around the globe including India, Africa, Guatemala, Indonesia and Asia. These fabrics not only give life to the bag but also support communities and help keep traditional craft forms alive. While all Ethnotek bags come with a lifetime warranty - this only applies to the bag construction itself, not the detachable THREAD™ (which has a 1 year warranty).
PLEASE NOTE: As each THREAD™ is handmade by local artisans, the pattern and colour may vary dramatically from piece to piece, but will be representative of the bag you have purchased. If you'd like to see a photo before the bag ships, please contact us on 02 8310 6797.
