Whether you want the perfect bag for exploring abroad, or just in search of something easier to swing over your shoulder on the subway, this bag is for you. It’s forged from 840-denier water resistant ballistic nylon and lined with hand woven fabric from Ethnotek partners in the Cham village of Vietnam.
Ethnotek bags feature interchangeable front panels, called THREADs. All styles except Ballistic Black come loaded with the THREAD as named/pictured on that product. They can be removed from the main pack and changed as your mood desires, also enabling the bag to also be worn bare/black if the situation requires. THREADs are sourced directly from local artisans around the globe including India, Africa, Guatemala, Indonesia and Asia. These fabrics not only give life to the bag but also support communities and help keep traditional craft forms alive.
PLEASE NOTE: As THREADs are made by hand by local artisans, the pattern and colour order may vary slightly from piece to piece, but will be representative of the bag you have purchased.
Ethnotek have an incredible story that goes much deeper than we have space for here. To learn more about Ethnotek and their mission to keep culture alive, check out this post about the Ethnotek story over at our Whiteboard Blog.
