The Roost Laptop Stand is the world's most portable, lightweight, eye-level laptop stand that elevates your screen for good ergonomic posture. Raising over US$785,000 through an incredibly successful crowdfunding campaign, the Roost Laptop Stand has proven to be a reliable, stylish and office friendly laptop companion.
Enables freedom to work anywhere - The Roost Laptop Stand collapses into an impossibly small 1" x 1" x 13" package and is a featherweight 6.5 ounces. Used with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, the Roost creates an ergonomic workstation that is, for the first time, truly as portable as your laptop.
Saves your neck and back - We love our laptops, but their use forces head-down, back-hunching, hand-contorting posture. Constant poor posture, over time, leads to a weakening of core muscles, joint dysfunction and nerve irritation. The Roost breaks this paradigm by elevating your laptop screen up to eye level. When used with an external keyboard and mouse, the Roost turns your laptop into a posture-perfect desktop workstation.
Fits your height and desk - Adjusting your workstation to match your body and environment is critical for maximum comfort and productivity. The Roost provides rapid height adjustment to fine tune your monitor to match your eye-level.
Easy to use - One easy motion to open and close the Roost. In seconds you can stop the hunch. Packing up is just as easy and quick, the Roost won't slow you down.
Improves your output - We are at our best when addressing our work with full, upright attention. Sitting with upright posture increases focus and minimises stress on structural joints and muscles, resulting in getting more done over longer periods of time.
Extremely stable - Your laptop needs to be safe and stable when lofted up off the desk. The Roost uses a patent-pending Pivoting Grip mechanism to securely latch on to your laptop, keeping it safe from unexpected bumps.
Laptop Compatibility: Laptops with "front edge" less than 0.75" (1.9cm) thick.
“Simple streamlined stand. .”
“Love this computer accessory! I was pleasantly surprised when i tried this. It definitely enhances my posture and it is so easy to use!”
“Perfect for working from home. .”
“Good quality, turns your laptop into a much easier set up when travelling constantly. . Purchased this stand after i saw a guy with it on one of my trips. It is really handy, folds down to nothing, and just makes your laptop more user friendly when travelling for work for extended periods of time. Highly recommended!”
“Great lightweight laptop stand. Bought one last week as i'm suffering from carpal tunnel and the ergonomics police have nobbled me (actually my macbook has! ). Great design. I'm 6ft 5" tall so i end up stooping a lot. I was just about to buy a goldtouch go pro (advised) stand or a cricket laptop stand (found and it's lightweight) and then i came across the roost stand and i could get it in australia. I like the height it goes up to - much higher than the other two. It's really lightweight. Fits in my laptop bag - roughly same width as my macbook pro 13". On full height, it's almost too high which is awesome as you can adjust it right down until you find a suitable height. I love the way it grips the laptop as well which makes it really stable. I've paired it up with a logitech k811 which is a lovely keyboard.”
“At last! Thank goodness i can now have my monitor at the proper height for me whilst not adding any weight to my carry on luggage!”
“Best laptop stand. Excellent laptop stand that is easy to use and feels durable. Perfect for anyone who needs a portable workstation and wants to reduce back aches.”
“Quality. Do your neck a favour and get this. The roost is the perfect balance of sturdiness, portability and style.”
“Brilliant for travelling . Purchased this for my husband who travels for business - very lightweight and super portable!”
“The answer to all my laptop stand problems. I've been looking for a foldable laptop stand for ages. After spending two years cycling to work with a large and unwieldy wooden stand, the roost laptop stand has finally sorted it out. Thanks!”
