Pockets, pockets, everywhere! One size smaller than the 1454, our 1457 West Side shoulder bag has two zippered pockets on the front flap, one traditionally across the top and one diagonally across the bottom for both style and practicality. Underneath the flap is pocket heaven for the person who enjoys an orderly life or would like to start one. There are two zippered pockets and one open pocket, which has a clip and a key ring attached. The main open compartment is big enough for your books and notebooks, and has two pockets inside (one zippered and one open) for your cash, keys, and MetroCard.
“Practical, great size for Asus EEE. I've had the manhattan small west side messenger for about 2 weeks now, and it's working out well. I use it for uni and for general outings - it's a good size for carrying around, just fits a4 booklets, and fits nicely in my bike's rear basket / panniers. It is also a good size for my asus eee ultraportable pc - much better than a full-size laptop bag imho. Style-wise it is understated but still smart, and doesn't scream "laptop bag" straight away. The strap configuration took a little getting used to, but is fine now. And there is a good set of pockets for organisation, but i might look out for an insert for really small items, eg my usb keys and adaptors.”
“Good Quality. Exactly what i was looking for. Good quality, tons of pockets and storage areas... Big enough to fit a few books for uni in, but not so big that it weighs me down. Only downside is that there's no padding on the shoulder strap.”
