Customer Reviews

  • “Not as good as Booq. Bought this as replacement for a stolen booq backpack, choosing it because it is just a little larger. Not a bad bag but i'm a bit disappointed by design details. It won't stand up when you put it on the ground. The zips tend to catch on other parts of the bag. Because the hard case design is very stiff it it hard to just open a zip a little bit and reach inside, you have to zip it all the way open. The buckles which tighten the shoulder straps tend to slip so it slowly slides down your back. But is it is very roomy, and looks smart.”

  • “Great, but bag is too short (top to bottom). I think this bag is absolutely great in all respects, but it has one shortcoming in the sense that it look tiny on your back due to the height of the bag. In the pictures it appears fine, but in the flesh it's actually a very short bag. I'm tall though, so it might just be me, but it looks like a kiddies bag on my back, even though it is very comfortable when bending forward (riding position). It is actually uncomfortable when you are walking with it in the upright position due to the curvature of the back (made for riding, not walking).”

  • “Fuse 2008 Cycle Backpack. Great size, sits just under the allowed baggage allowance size for plane travel. Which means its great for holding my laptop and a few other bits and pieces. Not really big enough to hold a great deal of stuff, but it does a better job than my old laptop bag which could only hold the laptop and charger. The internal arangement of pockets is reasonably well laid out. The front pocket area has some good storage options behind the hard shell, such as a little net holder for bigger items. My only drama with it is the laptop sleeve is a little awkward to get my 15. 4 laptop into smoothly. My laptop is on the bigger side of 15. 4 but i could definately see it annoying me if i had to put it in and out a number of times a day. But i usually only take it out once a day so it works ok. My biggest gripe is the red colour which is mega hyper bright red, so when you open it up put your sunglasses on. Its a little annoying that axio teamed a subdued black up with an offensive red. I mean if i wanted a bright red backpack i wouldn't have gone for black really would i? The build quality of the pack is fantastic, i like the zippers, and the stitching all looks to be of a high standard. The shoulder straps are nice and wide, so it takes the load comfortably, well i only really load it up to about 8kg so it sits nicely. Overall for my intended purpose its great. Nice, good quality travel bag to protect my laptop and give me a little more storage space. Just the red hurts my eyes!”
