With Drop, Mandarina Duck explores other worlds, finds new inspiration, collects ideas from contemporary design to create not so much a range of products, but a style of travel. A personal style, with great attention to detail and shape. A functional and at the same time sophisticated style. A style heightened in Drop thanks to its refined, clean and essential image.
Frame: The soft, sinuous round design with no sharp corners gives a unique touch to the shape of each trolley and allows even distribution of tension in the event of impact. The frame is made of PC plus polycarbonate, which has been specially designed to create a distinctive and recognisable material due to its metallic effect. PC plus polycarbonate is extremely resistant and elastic to impact, as it is able to return to its original shape after being compressed. The polycarbonate is 100% recyclable, waterproof and easy to clean.
Trolley system: Made of aluminium, it has been designed by Mandarina Duck to team toughness, sturdiness and lightness. The specially researched technical solutions strengthen the bars, making them impossible to bend under impact or pressure. The dual bar allows an additional bag to be easily attached. This is done using a customised button, specially located below the polycarbonate handle to prevent the trolley system coming out and accidentally breaking during use. The lock and release button on articles 3TV01 3TV02 3TV03 allows the tow-bar to be positioned at different heights according to the traveller's requirements and comfort. The tow-bar is released by pressing the handle button and pushing slightly downwards on the handle at the same time The tow-bar is then lifted. To replace the tow-bar, press the release button and push the tow-bar lightly downwards into position. The dimple at the bottom of the handle combines attractiveness and better grip during use. The innovative frame connection system designed by Mandarina Duck is a further feature to boost lightness.
Wheels: Made of a polyurethane and nylon blend that enables smooth, silent running. The guard and wheel attachment have been specially designed by Mandarina Duck to fit perfectly to the frame.
Customisation: Made of metal in relief and in tone with the frame to which it is secured by means of a system specially designed by Mandarina Duck to withstand even the most direct impact.
Zip: The zip that joins the frames is protected by a metalized rubber sheath. The sheath is joined on the closed side of the trolley using a customised clamp.
Interior organisation: The interior is fully lined and includes a mesh pocket to keep the contents clearly visible. A sheet of sound-absorbing material applied to the back of the polyester lining reduces vibration and noise levels during use. The straps inside the main compartment ensure maximum protection for the contents. The additional customised bags provide further storage space for shoes or underwear. The pilot case contains compartments and a removable 15 laptop carrier. Every article comes with a removable PVC outer cover to protect it against friction and impact.

Shaun The 'Drop' is a fantastic cabin bag for those short trips away. It has enough room to store everything you need, and fits perfectly inside overhead compartments on jet aircraft. The mesh compartment is perfect for storing those accessories that travel with you, like power supplies, reading material, a pair of shoes, etc. with the main compartment being used to store everything else. Even full of clothes, there's enough room to place a laptop in a sleeve (from Rushfaster of course) in between the two 'sections', which allows ease of access for passing through airport security. This bag is so much more functional compared to my previous cabin bag that I've been able to consolidate my previous cabin bag and a separate laptop bag into one. The 'Drop' also looks great. Even though I've had it for less than two weeks, I've already had comments from a range of people including hotel bellhops and taxi drivers through to flight attendants and airport security saying what a great looking bag it is. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
