this is a comfortable bag with all you need to carry your laptop and jogging gear too. just what i was looking for. no fancy pattern or gimmicks just good comfortable support and quality materials. the one thing that did strike me as a bit strange was the fact that there is 2 zips(so you can start & finish the zipping at either end of the zip) on the front & middle pocket but one on the back pocket(starts open at the bottom of the bag and closes at the top). not sure why this is? anyway, would recommend for value, comfort and quality.
The bag is even better than I had hoped for - great set up, well made, really good pocket layout... And an excellent price. I love it.
It's exactly what I wanted. lightweight. roomy. comfortable.
Loving this bag. Its perfect for uni, taking a lot of books and being able to slip the laptop in and out of your bag very quickly. The bag is well padded but I recommend you use a neoprene style cover to give your laptop even more protection Can't think of anything better than this bag for something light, not too big but still roomy for all your stuff.
Size and compartments ideal as I'm short. Lots of space and shape is streamline, not bulky.
hey this bag has been really great, can always carry my large amounts of stuff - without feeling too heavy :) would def recommend it!
i love this backpack! the laptop compartment is hidden somewhat and has a nice amount of extra space or books/jacket and the necessary cables and things for your laptop. for extra protection for macbook users i recommend getting a neoprene cover for your notebook cant be too careful.
The bag satisfies all the descriptions given by rushfaster. The bag is simple but yet gorgeous! I've been using it almost everyday! Thanks Rushfaster! Cheers!
The Gravis Staple is an excellent backpack. Exterior aesthetics are pleasing with a super slim side profile of the bag. It doesn't knock anyone while on the train or touch anyone or anything when i maneuver through tight spaces. Internal zip pockets are strong and secure. The rear laptop sleeve is perfect for books and other things even if you don't have a laptop. The Middle compartment is a good size for basic items such as an SLR Camera in its pouch, a jacket and a blanket for example. iPod wiring holes are good with the right headphones, and the iPod sleeve in the front compartment does it's job flawlessly. Sturdy build quality, though look and practical usage. I Highly recommend this bag.
I love this bag. It's really light and compact. I was impressed by the silver stitching (it looked grey in the photo). I also love how soft the fabric feels, so smooth. One zip only opens half way which is a little unusual, but I feel it just adds to the appeal of the backpack and I find it useful.
Have brought this very functional backpack along on several bushwalks and basecamps - it's been great! The material is very durable and is quite waterproof except for the outermost pocket. I store my maps, newspapers in the large back pocket while the rest of the stuff fits into the main compartment. There is a little hole at the top, presumably for earphones, but I tread my hydration pack's tubing through it and it's good.
I was surprised at how comfortable this backpack is! The mobile phone pouch is easily removed - i found it quite annoying. All in all it is great for organising my uni stuff. Laptop goes in one compartment. Books go in the other and it has two front pockets for frequently accessed items.
Great bag for commuting and weekends. Fits my laptop 15" perfectly, and is very comfortable to carry even with a bit of weight in it. A few loose threads but nothing to worry about. Great pockets. The only thing I think would make it better is a rain coat to pull over the bag.
so practical. fits anything in without making it look too bulky and ugly. the laptop compartment is amazing, it has a suspended support on the bottom so it doesn't allow for the laptop to be scraping on the bottom of the bag, you'll probably need a sleeve to fully protect it, it is a separate compartment in the bag but, the walls are thin, just an extra protection from what else is in the bag. other than that A++

Although slightly bigger than i had initially thought, it does the job and is still a great buy.
this bag is just perfect for uni - its not too bulky and is able to all your belongings. When you're not bringing your laptop, that compartment can double up for your books so there's plenty of space for other gear in the middle compartment.
